About The Position

We are searching for a talented Advanced Practice Practitioner to join our Primary Care team. The Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA), under the general supervision and direction of the Physician Lead/designee and Practice Manager, will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients, functioning as an integral member of the healthcare team within a medical home model. This role emphasizes high-quality, patient-centered, and evidence-based care in accordance with established clinical guidelines, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.

Requirements

  • Physician Assistant: Bachelors Degree in a related field is required.
  • Graduate of an A.M.A.-approved Physician Assistant program is required.
  • Nurse Practitioner: Master of Science Degree in Nursing is required.
  • Physician Assistant: Current MA and/or RI Physician Associate License is required based on practice location.
  • Certification from a National accrediting body to practice as a Physician Assistant is required.
  • Current BLS certification is required.
  • Nurse Practitioner: Current MA and/or RI Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner License is required based on practice location.
  • Certification from a National accrediting body to practice as a Nurse Practitioner is required.
  • Current BLS certification is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Primary Care is desirable.
