This role emphasizes high-quality, patient-centered, and evidence-based care in accordance with established clinical guidelines, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies. The Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA), under the general supervision and direction of the Physician Lead/designee and Practice Manager will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients, functioning as an integral member of the healthcare team within a medical home model.

Requirements

Physician Assistant: Bachelors Degree in a related field is required.
Physician Assistant: Graduate of an A.M.A.-approved Physician Assistant program is required.
Nurse Practitioner: Master of Science Degree in Nursing is required.
Physician Assistant: Current MA and/or RI Physician Associate License is required based on practice location.
Physician Assistant: Certification from a National accrediting body to practice as a Physician Assistant is required.
Current BLS certification is required.
Nurse Practitioner: Current MA and/or RI Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner License is required based on practice location.
Nurse Practitioner: Certification from a National accrediting body to practice as a Nurse Practitioner is required.
Current BLS certification is required.

Nice To Haves

Experience in Primary Care is desirable.
