About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care across our primary care clinic network. This role involves delivering comprehensive care to patients of all ages while supporting provider coverage needs at multiple locations. The ideal candidate is flexible, collaborative, and committed to maintaining excellent clinical outcomes in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The NP/PA will provide comprehensive primary care services, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. The provider will be responsible for delivering preventive care and wellness services while addressing same-day and routine patient needs. This individual will float between various clinic locations to ensure appropriate provider coverage and continuity of care across the organization. Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program and hold board certification. An active and unrestricted license in both Tennessee and Georgia is required. Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain is also required. This position is involved in a team-based approach to care. Team members are trained to meet the highest level of function for their role as per the State of Tennessee/Georgia guidelines. Is trained and assigned (as per their role and responsibilities) to coordinate care for patients and is trained and assigned to support patients/families/caregivers in self-management, self-efficacy and behavior change. Is trained and assigned (as per their role and responsibilities) to manage the practices' patient population. Participates in the practice's quality improvement process and performance evaluation.

Requirements

  • Graduate from a nationally accredited School of Nursing for both undergraduate and Master's Degree or graduate of an accredited Physician Assitant program.
  • Board certification.
  • Active and unrestricted license in both Tennessee and Georgia.
  • Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain.
  • One to three years' experience in primary care setting.
  • Occupational Health experience.
  • Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Tennessee.
  • Certification by the American Nurses Association as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Knowledge of organizational policies, regulations, and procedures to administer patient care.
  • Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care.
  • Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
  • Skill in taking medical history, assessing medical condition, and interpreting findings.
  • Skill in preparing and maintaining records, writing reports and responding to correspondence.
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public.
  • Ability to maintain quality control standards.
  • Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
  • Ability to interpret, adapt, and apply guidelines and procedures.
  • Ability to communicate clearly.
  • Ability to perform procedures and operate equipment necessary for patient care as required.
  • Ability to maintain strict level of confidentiality regarding health information.
