About The Position
This is a locum tenens position for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing in Hospital Medicine in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia. The role involves providing onsite clinical coverage for the hospitalist service, managing a daily census of approximately 9 patients, and performing admissions, discharges, and rounds. The provider will collaborate with a supervising physician via tele-coverage and document patient care in the Epic EMR system. The coverage period is from December 31, 2026, to January 07, 2027, with a shift schedule of Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts).
Requirements
- FNP, AGACNP, or ACNP certification required
- Active WV NP License
- Active DEA
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of Hospital Medicine experience
