This role is responsible for maintaining and expanding a large book of business, focusing on complex and priority accounts across various industries or specialties. The SDI Leader directs and implements the sales and marketing strategy for managed accounts and growth areas, leveraging an in-depth understanding of market needs, expectations, trends, and internal product and service offerings. The position involves keeping current on account issues, industry and market trends, and developing growth strategies for targeted accounts to ensure appropriate solutions are marketed and proposed. It requires offering technical advice and making informed recommendations based on product expertise, a comprehensive review of account needs and risks, and collaboration with colleagues. The leader ensures advantageous conditions, coverage, and pricing for the Company, upholds business and compliance standards, offers customized solutions, and completes proposal work. Responsibilities also include developing and monitoring project plans for the sales process, maintaining and preserving client relationships, addressing escalated issues, and ensuring overall service needs are met. The role requires maintaining strong relationships with senior-level professional counterparts in client organizations and actively participating in industry events and conferences to build networks and represent the Company as a thought leader.
