About The Position

FRUITPORT COMMUNITY SCHOOLS NOTICE OF INTENT TO EMPLOY LOCATION: Edgewood Elementary POSITION: Noon Supervisor HOURS: Monday- Friday, student days only 5 hours per day, 25 hours per week 8:15 am to 9:15 am 11:00 am to 3:00 pm QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience with elementary students is preferred. SPECIFIC DUTIES: Supervise drop-off routine: manage student behaviors, breakfast in the cafeteria, drop-off lane, and playground. Supervise lunch: manage student behaviors, wash tables, dismiss students to recess, etc. Supervise recess: manage student behaviors, actively patrol the playground, dismiss students to line spots, etc. Proactively build student relationships to mitigate student behaviors. Hold students accountable to our ROCKS expectations. Use school-wide incentives to acknowledge positive student behavior (ROCKS slips). Use behavior referral program (SWIS) to record student behavior. Assist students with minor first aid. Work outside in winter conditions. Other duties as assigned by the school administration.
