About The Position

Under the direction of the Principal, the Noon Duty Supervisor (Safety Monitor) supervises and directs groups of children in various locations at the school site. Assignments are split shifts. Typical shifts are 7:15 am–8:15 am, 8:45 am–10:00 am, and 10:50 am–12:50 pm. Shifts are offered based on the school’s needs and employee availability. The employer is Mountain View Montessori Charter School, a dependent charter of the Victor Elementary School District.

Requirements

• Knowledge of school rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and follow directions and instructions.
• Ability to work cooperatively with students, coworkers, teachers, and administrators.
• Ability to listen, speak, and communicate effectively.
• Good judgment in matters of safety.
• Ability to work with children in groups or individually.
• Proof of high school graduation is required.
• No experience is required.
