About The Position

As a Caregiver with Assisting Hands, you will provide compassionate and reliable custodial and personal care services to clients in their homes, following the guidance of the Staffing Coordinator and in alignment with each client’s personalized Plan of Care. The role supports clients in maintaining a clean, comfortable, and safe environment while receiving the assistance they need to live independently.

The Non-Medical Caregiver assists clients with daily living activities and provides companionship in their homes.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Caring, trustworthy, and responsible.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to follow care instructions and respect client privacy.

Nice To Haves

• At least one (1) year of experience in a home care, long-term care, or similar setting is preferred.
• Previous caregiving experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
• Prepare meals and provide light housekeeping.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with mobility and daily activities.
• Provide medication reminders as instructed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.
• Report concerns or changes in the client's well-being to the appropriate person.
