About The Position
Touching Hearts at Home has an immediate opening for a caregiver who can serve our clients in the River Falls and Hudson areas. We provide non-medical, supportive home care to our elderly clients in their homes. Services include companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, personal care, laundry/linens, and transportation to appointments and errands. We currently have openings during the daytime in River Falls and Hudson, as well as some late afternoon/early evening shifts in the surrounding areas.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must be reliable and compassionate.
- Must pass a caregiver background check.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with hospice clients.
- Willingness to work awake overnights.
- Ability to assist with transfers (2 person assist).
Responsibilities
- Serve clients in the River Falls and Hudson areas.
- Provide non-medical, supportive home care to elderly clients in their homes.
- Offer companionship.
- Perform light housekeeping.
- Prepare meals.
- Assist with personal care.
- Do laundry/linens.
- Provide transportation to appointments and errands.
- Provide awake overnights to reposition clients, assist with transfers, give ice chips and water as needed, and ensure client comfort.
Benefits
- Starting wage of $19 per hour.
