Non-Invasive Cardiologist - Outpatient
About The Position
ChristianaCare is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Non-Invasive Clinical Cardiologist in Newark, Delaware. The position is based at The Center for Heart and Vascular Health, a team of 25 cardiologists and 16 advanced practice clinicians providing cardiovascular care in state-of-the-art facilities. Cardiologists participate in imaging studies at ambulatory locations and can collaborate with primary care partners on population health initiatives. The role offers progressive clinical practice, teaching opportunities with Cardiology Fellows and house staff, and potential engagement in clinical research. ChristianaCare is affiliated with Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University and partners with the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania for cardiac transplantation and transplant medicine services. The cardiologist will collaborate with members of the Cardiology section, including clinicians in community-based practices.
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible in cardiology.
- Must be able to obtain a license to practice in Delaware.
- Must meet credentialing requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide non-invasive clinical cardiology care.
- Participate in the full range of imaging studies at ambulatory locations.
- Collaborate with primary care partners on population health-based initiatives.
- Collaborate with other members of the Cardiology section, including community-based practices.
- Participate in teaching Cardiology Fellows and house staff, as opportunities allow.
- Engage in clinical research, as opportunities allow.
