About The Position
The Cardiac & Vascular Institute (TCAVI), a partner of Cardiovascular Associates of America (CVAUSA), is seeking a full-time Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join their team. This role will primarily serve patients in Gainesville clinics, the Ambulatory Surgical Center, and affiliated hospitals. TCAVI is dedicated to providing exceptional, evidence-based cardiovascular care with a team of 24 board-certified physicians and 8 advanced practice providers across various cardiology specialties. The institute emphasizes prevention, early detection, and utilizes state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic technologies, including participation in clinical research and a focus on minimally invasive techniques. The position offers a supportive work environment with clinical support staff, advanced technology, and opportunities for academic and research involvement.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Medicine.
- MD or DO from a U.S.-accredited Internal Medicine and Cardiology program.
- Strong focus on patient care, teamwork, and clinical quality.
- Eligible for Florida medical licensure.
- Can sponsor J1 and H1-B physician waivers.
Nice To Haves
- Nuclear and Echo board certifications preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform Echo, nuclear imaging, TEE, and Coronary Artery Calcium Scoring (CACS).
- Conduct stress testing.
- Provide hospital consults.
- Manage general outpatient cardiology cases.
