This region has a long‑standing need for a local cardiologist, creating an exceptional opportunity to build a high‑impact practice from the ground up. With strong community demand and an established referral base, patient volumes are expected to grow rapidly. Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
  • Board Certified/ Board Eligible in Cardiology
  • Unrestricted ID MD or DO license or the ability to obtain an unrestricted license
  • U.S. ACGME Residency
  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process

  • Experience in building and growing a cardiology practice

Responsibilities

  • Rounding in the morning at Cassia Regional Hospital (as the program grows)
  • Being called on occasion for a hospital consult
  • Participating in case review meetings 2 times per month with the northern Utah teams
  • Participating in a journal club once a month

Benefits

  • Generous compensation with a 4 day work week salary of $457,100
  • Up to $90,000 in continuous improvement bonuses available in year two
  • CME: up to $4500 annually
  • Starting Bonus: $30,000 paid out within 45 days after your start date and requires a 2 year commitment
  • Relocation: up to $20,000 paid out within 45 days after your start date and requires a 2 year commitment
