About The Position
Citrus Cardiology Consultants is seeking a Full-Time Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join their growing team, primarily focusing on Ocala and affiliated HCA and AdventHealth hospitals. The practice is a premier cardiovascular group and a proud CVAUSA partner, delivering exceptional, patient-first care across Citrus, Sumter, Lake, and Marion counties. Their comprehensive services include general cardiology, advanced cardiac imaging, electrophysiology, peripheral vascular care, and structural heart programs. They utilize state-of-the-art facilities and emphasize collaboration and innovation to advance cardiovascular care in Central Florida.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
- MD or DO from a U.S.-accredited residency and fellowship program
- Training or strong interest in echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, cardiac CT, and/or stress testing
- Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered, and collaborative care
- Eligible for physician waiver support (H-1B and J1) through the Southeast Crescent Regional Commission
Nice To Haves
- Board certification in Echo or Nuclear Cardiology preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Primarily non-invasive cardiology with a balanced mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient consults
- Focus on cardiac imaging, including echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, stress testing, and cardiac CT (based on training and interest)
- Collaborate within a team that includes on-site interventional, electrophysiology, and CT surgery support
- Serve as faculty with the ACGME-accredited Cardiology Fellowship Program in partnership with University of Central Florida College of Medicine/HCA Healthcare
- Mentor fellows and help shape the next generation of cardiologists
- Participate in shared call responsibilities
- Utilize streamlined workflows in both clinic and hospital settings
