About The Position
Works closely with the lab technicians in lab preparation to assist faculty in lab activities. This is a Non-Federal Work-Study student worker position. Stark State College utilizes E-Verify to ensure compliance with applicable employment eligibility laws. E-Verify is an electronic system used to confirm the employment eligibility of new hires. This process will be conducted in accordance with I-9 verification and will be done promptly upon hire for all incoming employees. Candidates selected for employment must either reside in Ohio or be willing to relocate to Ohio.
Requirements
- Must maintain current Stark State College student status.
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Mechanically inclined, able to perform basic and routine maintenance on laboratory equipment
- Experience with laboratory safety requirements and training
