Non-Destructive Assay Program Manager

Centrus Global•Piketon, OH

About The Position

Centrus Energy is hiring a Non-Destructive Analysis (NDA) Program Manager to establish and manage an NDA program supporting safe, compliant enrichment operations and NRC-regulated nuclear operations. The manager will develop a mature in-house NDA measurement program, provide technical support to the nuclear material control and accountability program, and provide design and system support to the engineering organization. The role manages NDA programs and processes from initiation through steady-state operations, develops operational and maintenance procedures to optimize waste handling, and coordinates with operations, engineering, auditors, and regulators. The manager ensures work meets nuclear safety, quality assurance, configuration management, and security requirements; troubleshoots technical and operational challenges; and drives continuous improvement. The position also involves building, mentoring, and setting expectations for a team, and includes authority to stop work when safety or compliance is at risk. The successful candidate must obtain and maintain a Q security clearance. Employment is subject to pre-employment identity and eligibility verification, a background check, and drug testing. Employees in clearance-required positions are also subject to random and incident- or suspicion-based drug testing, and federal background investigations and subsequent reinvestigations may be required.
