About The Position
The Non-CDL Driver position in Madison, WI, is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods and materials using vehicles that do not require a Commercial Driver's License. The role ensures timely deliveries while following safety regulations and company policies. Duties include navigating local routes, maintaining vehicle cleanliness and basic upkeep, and providing customer service during deliveries. The driver works with dispatch and warehouse teams to coordinate schedules and resolve logistical challenges, helping ensure products reach their destinations reliably and in good condition. The shift starts between 2:00 AM and 4:00 AM and continues until route completion. Workdays are Monday through Friday, depending on the Saturday rotation. Pay is $21 per hour.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license appropriate for non-CDL vehicle operation.
- Clean driving record with no recent violations or accidents.
- Ability to safely lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Basic knowledge of local roads and traffic laws in Madison, WI.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Safe driving practices, route navigation, basic vehicle maintenance, communication skills, physical stamina, and proper lifting techniques.

Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles that do not require a CDL to transport goods to various locations within the designated area.
- Load and unload materials safely, ensuring items are secured properly during transit.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules, communicating with dispatch about delays or issues.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks; promptly report mechanical problems.
- Provide courteous and professional customer service during deliveries, including obtaining signatures and handling delivery documentation.
