About The Position

Transport and collect samples, distribute supplies, and monitor coolers and ice machines at assigned customer locations. The role includes scheduled sample collection routes to transport samples to a central laboratory for testing. Routes are primarily second- and third-shift schedules and involve extensive driving, approximately 1,645 miles per week. Sample collection routes run overnight, and occasional overnight stays are possible. A company vehicle, tablet, and phone are provided for routes. Starting pay is $19.25 per hour. Candidates are preferred to reside within approximately 30 miles of Medina, Ohio.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must obtain any certifications or licenses required by regulatory agencies as a condition of continued employment.
Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel to ensure customer needs and requirements are met.
Basic proficiency using technology such as a laptop, tablet, and cell phone.
Valid driver’s license with no significant restrictions or violations.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Collect and transport samples from assigned customer locations to the central laboratory for testing according to schedule.
Keep the transportation supervisor informed of requests or concerns raised by customers.
Record sample, route, and cooler information on required forms and logs, including arrival and departure times.
Report route delays, accidents, vehicle breakdowns, and other issues encountered during collection runs.
Maintain assigned vehicles in good working order and notify management of maintenance needs or mechanical issues.
Clean and maintain sample coolers at collection locations and service log tags as necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned.
