About The Position

Ferguson is hiring a Non CDL Driver to deliver materials to customers and support warehouse operations. The role includes helping load and unload deliveries, verifying customer returns, inspecting and fueling the truck, and following company and DOT safety requirements. Drivers may also help prepare orders and receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming materials. The position offers a daily-home schedule with no nights or weekends, Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with overtime as needed. Starting pay is $27.00 per hour, with the possibility of higher pay based on experience.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Have a valid driver's license.
Follow all DOT standards and regulations.
Currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card to meet driver requirements.
Be able to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Be a strong communicator with a customer-focused approach.
Be able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads.
Complete pre-employment drug and background screening.

Nice To Haves

Background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving, and delivery.

Responsibilities

Deliver materials to customers, assist with loading and unloading, and ensure the delivery ticket accompanies the material.
Pick up customer returns and validate that products match credit requests.
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report problems or issues to a supervisor.
Follow and implement company safety policies and procedures.
Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed.
Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming material.
Work overtime as needed.
Follow safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.
