About The Position

Tropic Supply, Inc. is seeking a reliable and professional Non-CDL Delivery Driver for a full-time position in Naples, FL. This local driving role involves delivering HVAC and refrigeration supplies to contractors and technicians, with the expectation of being home every night. While the primary focus is driving, drivers will also contribute to warehouse operations when routes are complete or volume is lighter. Tropic Supply is Florida's largest independent, family-owned HVAC and refrigeration distributor with over 50 years of experience and 23 locations.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Valid driver's license in good standing.
  • Motor vehicle record subject to review and approval per Tropic Supply driving standards.
  • Valid DOT medical certificate.
  • Minimum six months of verifiable non-CDL commercial vehicle or box truck driving experience within the last three years.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English for safety compliance, delivery documentation, and customer interaction.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum one year of warehouse experience in a distribution, supply, or logistics environment.
  • Experience with pallet jacks and warehouse equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs consistently throughout a shift and sustain physical activity in a non-climate-controlled environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with a track record of delivery and documentation accuracy.
  • Reliable, self-directed work ethic with no need for constant supervision.

Nice To Haves

  • Sit-down forklift certification or demonstrated proficiency.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

  • Operate Tropic Supply vans and box trucks under 26,001 lbs GVWR on established local routes, delivering HVAC and refrigeration supplies efficiently and professionally.
  • Complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
  • Verify product accuracy before every delivery.
  • Handle delivery documentation carefully.
  • Safely load and unload cargo using lift gates, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
  • Take ownership of your route, your vehicle, and the impression you leave at every stop.
  • Contribute to warehouse operations by pulling and filling orders, receiving and stocking inventory, supporting the team on the floor, and helping customers load product safely.
