About The Position

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Node.js Backend Developer to design, develop, test, and support enterprise software applications and services using the technology stack relevant to the project. The role spans implementation, API and data integration, code quality, release readiness, and production troubleshooting. The successful candidate will apply practical expertise in Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, Express or NestJS, asynchronous programming, REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL, and service testing. The developer will work with cross-functional teams and contribute to reliable, maintainable solutions throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Requirements

• Typically 4+ years of experience in a related professional role; the exact threshold must match the approved requisition.
• Practical experience with Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, Express or NestJS, asynchronous programming, REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL, and service testing.
• Professional experience building or supporting production software using the core technologies relevant to the role.
• Strong understanding of programming fundamentals, software design, data structures, and maintainable code.
• Experience with APIs, integrations, data stores, and appropriate testing practices.
• Working knowledge of Git or another source-control system and structured development workflows.
• Ability to troubleshoot defects and communicate technical findings clearly.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile or iterative delivery environment.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain application components using the approved technology stack.
• Translate functional and technical requirements into maintainable code, APIs, interfaces, or user-facing features.
• Integrate applications with databases, external services, and enterprise systems using appropriate standards.
• Participate in code reviews, automated testing, debugging, and performance improvement.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, QA, and operations teams through release and production support.
