About The Position

Booz Allen is seeking an experienced, back-end-focused Node.js developer to help develop user-focused solutions for clients. The role applies software engineering skills to identify potential risks, contribute to solution development, and build efficient, effective systems. The developer will use current architectural approaches, open-source frameworks, and tools to create custom tools, systems, and sites with consistent performance and scalability, working with a development team on mission-forward solutions.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience implementing, maintaining, and supporting agile software development.
• At least 2 years of experience developing web applications.
• At least 2 years of experience with Node.js software development.
• At least 2 years of experience with TypeScript.
• Experience developing Linux-based systems in AWS.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required; applicants are subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
• Bachelor's degree, or at least 5 years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree.
• Candidates must complete the required skills assessment and meet the minimum proficiency threshold to continue in the hiring process.
