Nocturnist Physician (MD/DO) - Per Diem - UNC Health Lenoir
About The Position
UNC Health Medical Group, in partnership with UNC Health Lenoir in Kinston, North Carolina, is seeking a per diem Nocturnist Physician to join its Hospitalists team. The schedule is 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with two or more shifts per month. The position uses the EPIC electronic medical record system and is onsite. The physician will see an average of 14–17 patients per day, work in an open ICU, and run codes; no procedures are required. Lenoir County is located in eastern North Carolina and includes the historic downtown district of Kinston, local shops, art galleries, restaurants, historic sites, hiking and biking trails, and fishing and sporting opportunities. The position is employed by NC Health (Rex Healthcare, Inc., doing business as NC Health), a private, fully owned subsidiary of UNC Health Care System, and is not a state-employed position. Requirements
- Residency training in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Board certified or board eligible, with intentions of becoming board certified if not already certified.
