About The Position
Network Operations Center (NOC) Support Engineers oversee the configuration, installation, and monitoring of all critical elements of Ainsworth’s server-based gaming and progressive systems. This role requires advanced knowledge in the configuration of hardware, software, network, and storage solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Network Operation & Security, IT, or Computer Science.
- Minimum 2 years related work experience.
- Advanced Windows Server administration, Active Directory, virtualization.
- Basic PowerShell understanding.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Nevada gaming registration.
- Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Assembles server and progressive hardware (installation of memory, CPU, hard drives).
- Installs, configures, and maintains Windows Server environments, Microsoft SQL databases, and network architecture including switches and firewalls.
- Identifies, analyzes, and documents defects, field concerns, and performance errors.
- Reproduces field issues in test/lab environments to identify root causes and provides on-call 24/7 support when designated.
- Assists with the setup, testing, and deployment of new technology solutions and identifies process improvement initiatives.
- Creates and maintains documentation related to processes, procedures, and policies.
