About the position
As a Network Operations Center Engineer at Via, you will be responsible for monitoring Via's services and servers, handling incidents quickly and professionally to ensure high-level services availability and performance. You will also be managing internal notifications to update employees and management about any service degradation and changes of status. Additionally, you will work with R&D teams to resolve complex issues and implement timely solutions to customer issues. Studying towards a degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Information Systems or having experience in troubleshooting and providing support in a SaaS/IT environment is required for this role.
Responsibilities
- Monitor Via's services and servers, handling incidents quickly and professionally to ensure high-level services availability and performance.
- Responsible for monitoring infrastructure, cloud, servers, applications, operators, drivers, and riders worldwide.
- Manage internal notifications to update Via's employees and management about any service degradation and changes of status.
- Work with R&D teams to resolve complex issues.
- Implement timely solutions to customer issues or escalate to another team internally when needed.
- Work on additional different R&D tasks.
- Troubleshoot and provide support in a SaaS/IT environment from a global company.
- Highly service-oriented and empathetic.
- Ability to work under pressure in stressful situations in a production environment.
- Great sense of urgency to identify and triage incidents quickly.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hebrew (verbal and writing).
- Fast learner, able to understand complex workflows quickly.
- Team player excited about collaborating with others but also independent and able to "fly solo".
- Scripting/Programming knowledge - advantage.
- Basic understanding of monitoring concepts and management tools - advantage.
Requirements
