Requirements

GED at minimum.
Detail-oriented, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with OSHA regulations.
1-2 years of warehousing and distribution experience in a high-volume environment.
Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.
Continuous desire to improve.
Has experience in operating a forklift.
Must be willing and able to work nights.
Familiarity and comfort level with warehousing technology.
Basic familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word.
Understand the concept of FIFO and has slotting experience.
Experience working with a unionized crew.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree preferred.
EoStar and Vocalect a plus.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word a plus.

Responsibilities

Supervising a staff of up to 50 individuals, including Forklift operators, Order builders, and Checkers, to maintain productivity levels.
Overseeing the loading of trucks to ensure the accuracy of pallets.
Assisting Manager and Assistant Manager in monitoring and execution of scale and layer pick processes.
Maintaining a safe operating environment for all warehouse crew, ensuring that safety standards and protocols are enforced.
Ensuring pick lines are properly replenished as needed.
Maintaining the cleanliness and maintenance of the facility.
Accurately send/receive transfers to and from other warehouses.
Maintaining the FIFO pipeline.
Assist in the training and development of new employees.
Ensuring that staff complete training requirements.
