Requirements

Active RN or LPN license
Current RN or LPN Licensure in the State employed
Valid CPR Certification
Graduate of an accredited RN or LPN School of Nursing
Familiarity with HIPAA and confidentiality standards
Ability to work independently and stay organized during overnight hours

Nice To Haves

Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred
Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred
Compassionate bedside manner with a team-first attitude
Strong assessment, critical thinking skills, and leadership skills

Responsibilities

Supervise nursing staff
Provide exceptional overnight nursing care to residents with complex medical needs
Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes or emergencies
Administer medications and treatments accurately and efficiently
Collaborate with CNAs, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
Maintain detailed documentation and communicate shift updates clearly
Create a safe, calm, and comforting environment for residents and families
