About The Position

As the Night Shift Nurse Supervisor, you will lead a dedicated night team while remaining hands-on in patient care. You will be the clinical anchor for the shift, supporting and guiding the nursing team to ensure smooth, efficient operations.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina (or compact state).
- Minimum of 1–2 years of nursing experience.
- ADN required.
- A calm under pressure, empathetic communicator who commands respect and can guide a team through emergency situations.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in corrections, Emergency Departments, urgent care, or high-acuity settings is a major plus.
- BSN preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the night shift nursing team, acting as the go-to clinical resource.
- Conduct health assessments, triage, manage medications, and respond to urgent medical needs.
- Collaborate with the correctional officer team.
- Serve as the primary clinical point-of-contact for the facility overnight, ensuring seamless communication regarding inmate healthcare.
