Night Cook/Breakfast Baker (Full Time)
About The Position
The Night Cook/Breakfast Baker prepares food in accordance with established standards and ensures quality food service is provided at all times. The position is based at Apache, 3801 Centerpoint Drive #301, Anchorage, Alaska. This is a full-time role with a rotational schedule of four weeks on and two weeks off; days and hours may vary, with further schedule details provided during the interview. The fixed pay rate is $21.00 per hour. ESS Support Services Worldwide provides food and facility maintenance services for clients at offshore and remote land sites. The role supports food service for resident workers in a setting where services operate year-round, 24 hours a day. Previous remote camp work experience is required.

Responsibilities
- Prepare high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions, meeting production, delivery, and service schedules.
- Serve meals and prepare them for delivery using correct portions, meeting standards, maintaining appropriate food temperatures, and arranging food neatly.
- Use established ticket collection procedures during service and maintain records for the assigned work area during service periods.
- Clean the kitchen after preparation and service and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Store or discard excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures.
- Keep refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat, and store food and supplies according to standards.
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed.
- Assist with production planning, record keeping, and reporting as required.
- Assist with ordering and receiving food and supplies as required.
- Immediately report needed maintenance, faulty equipment, or accidents to the supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
