About The Position
The Night Cook/Baker prepares food according to established standards and ensures quality food service. This is a full-time rotational position at Alaska Training in Anchorage, Alaska, typically working four weeks on and two weeks off. The pay range is $14.00 to $20.00 per hour. The role is with ESS Support Services Worldwide, a provider of food and facility maintenance services for clients at offshore and remote land sites.
Requirements
- ServSafe Manager certification is required.
- Candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.

- Remote camp experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions, meeting production, delivery, and service schedules.
- Serve meals and prepare food for delivery using correct portions, established standards, appropriate temperatures, and attractive presentation.
- Follow established ticket collection procedures during service and maintain records for the assigned work area.
- Clean the kitchen after preparation and service, maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Store or discard excess food according to safe food-handling procedures.
- Keep refrigerators and storerooms clean and orderly, and store food and supplies according to standards.
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed.
- Assist with production planning, record keeping, and reporting as required.
- Assist with ordering and receiving food and supplies as required.
- Immediately report maintenance needs, faulty equipment, or accidents to the supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
