About The Position

The Night CMV (Non-CDL) Delivery Driver provides prompt, courteous customer service by delivering and picking up products from customer drop sites for internal and external customers. The driver performs general driving and warehouse duties, assists customers as needed, and represents Mygrant Glass in warehouses and in the field while maintaining safety and accuracy. The position involves evening delivery routes and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Requirements

Meet applicable state and federal commercial motor vehicle driver requirements, including holding a valid DOT medical card.
Pass an MVR check.
Safely and competently operate forklifts, reach trucks, and pickers.
Have 3–5 years of driving and delivery experience.
Have a valid driver’s license.
Have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Have excellent communication and organizational skills.
Have strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
Be organized, detail-oriented, accurate, and adaptable to warehouse environments.
Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Work cohesively as part of a team and take direction in changing work conditions.
Have finger grip strength to properly handle glass.
Be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
Be able to remain stationary and/or upright for prolonged periods, traverse stairs, maneuver in tight spaces, reach overhead, squat, bend, kneel, stoop, and crouch during an 8–10-hour work shift.

Responsibilities

Unload incoming inventory, inspect it for damage, process it, and stock it.
Pick the correct products and quantities for orders or transfers; load glass racks and trucks.
Follow delivery routes and schedules to deliver products and receive returns on time.
Process and record payments and enter data into the ordering system.
Clean glass, assess stock for damage, and affix appropriate labels.
Safely operate delivery vehicles up to 26,000 pounds GMVW.
Receive and process returned stock; complete logs and documentation.
Communicate with team leaders to support timely and accurate deliveries.
Break down boxes, stock accessories, and organize inventory as directed.
Interact with and assist customers during deliveries and at will call.
Help maintain the branch appearance, including cleaning warehouse and counter areas.
Perform other assigned job tasks.
