About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a service-oriented Night Auditor for The DeSoto Savannah. The role combines overnight hotel front desk duties with end-of-day accounting, guest service, cash handling, and monitoring hotel security and public areas. The Night Auditor helps ensure accurate guest accounts and a well-prepared front desk for the morning shift. Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in accounting or as a Night Auditor.
Knowledge of a property management system (PMS).
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to multitask.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work as a team player.
Ability to exceed guest expectations.
Basic accounting and math skills.

Responsibilities

Audit the daily guest ledger.
Handle end-of-day accounting functions, including posting daily room rates and room tax.
Ensure the accuracy of charges on guest folios.
Calculate the sum of revenues across accounts receivable for food, rooms, and other departments.
Perform front desk duties, including checking guests in and out, booking reservations, and resolving guest issues.
Make cash drops in accordance with cash-handling procedures.
Organize the Front Desk area so the morning staff can prepare for their shift.
Monitor the hotel security camera system.
Ensure the lobby is well-maintained and properly lit, with music at the appropriate volume.
Work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
