About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Night Auditor for The DeSoto Savannah. The role supports hotel operations by auditing the daily guest ledger, completing end-of-day accounting, and providing front-desk service. The Night Auditor also helps maintain the front desk and lobby, monitors the hotel security camera system, and works nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Accounting or Night Auditor role.
Knowledge of a property management system (PMS).
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to multitask.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Team-player mindset.
Ability to exceed guest expectations.
Basic accounting and math skills.

Responsibilities

Audit the daily guest ledger.
Complete end-of-day accounting functions, including posting daily room rates and room tax.
Ensure all charges on guest folios are accurate.
Average revenues across accounts receivable from food, rooms, and other departments.
Perform front-desk duties, including checking guests in and out, booking reservations, and resolving guest issues.
Make cash drops in accordance with cash-handling procedures.
Organize the Front Desk area so the A.M. Front Desk staff can prepare for their shift.
Monitor the hotel security camera system.
Ensure the lobby is well-maintained and properly lit, with music at the proper volume.
Work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
