About The Position

The Night Auditor supports overnight hotel operations at the Hilton Garden Inn Edison, providing guest service and maintaining accurate financial records during the 11 PM–7 AM shift. The role includes welcoming guests, handling check-ins and reservations, answering late-night questions, completing the night audit and balancing transactions, conducting security walks, and preparing daily reports including the Daily Flash Report. The Night Auditor works with other departments to support smooth operations and high-quality service, and uses Windows, spreadsheets, and word-processing documents to resolve problems independently.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience in a hotel or related field.
• Fluency with Windows, spreadsheets, and word-processing documents.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests during the overnight shift and handle check-ins, reservations, and late-night questions.
• Complete the night audit, balance financial records, and finalize transactions.
• Conduct regular security walks to help keep the property safe.
• Prepare daily reports, including the Daily Flash Report, for management.
• Coordinate with other departments to support smooth hotel operations and guest service.
• Use computer applications and independent problem-solving to address operational issues.
