About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Night Auditor for Graduate by Hilton Berkeley. The role supports the hotel’s overnight operations by auditing guest accounts and completing end-of-day accounting tasks, while also providing front desk service and helping maintain a secure, welcoming lobby. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, with nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an accounting or Night Auditor role.
• Knowledge of a property management system (PMS).
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Team player.
• Ability to exceed guests’ expectations.
• Basic accounting and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Audit the daily guest ledger.
• Handle end-of-day accounting functions, including posting daily room rates and room tax.
• Ensure the accuracy of all charges to guest folios.
• Calculate the sum of revenues across accounts receivable from food, rooms, and other departments.
• Act as a front desk clerk by checking guests in and out, booking reservations, and resolving guest issues.
• Make cash drops in accordance with proper cash-handling procedures.
• Organize the Front Desk area so the A.M. Front Desk staff can prepare for their shift.
• Monitor the hotel security camera system.
• Ensure the lobby is well-maintained and properly lit, with music at an appropriate volume.
• Work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
