About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a service-oriented Night Auditor for Graduate by Hilton Berkeley. The role handles overnight front desk and accounting duties, supports guests, and prepares the Front Desk for the morning shift. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, and the role may require working nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in an accounting or Night Auditor role.
• Knowledge of a property management system (PMS).
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to multitask.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to exceed guest expectations.
• Basic accounting and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Audit the daily guest ledger.
• Handle end-of-day accounting functions, including posting daily room rates and room tax.
• Ensure charges to guest folios are accurate.
• Calculate total revenues from accounts receivable for food, rooms, and other departments.
• Perform front desk duties, including checking guests in and out, booking reservations, and resolving guest issues.
• Make cash drops in accordance with cash-handling procedures.
• Organize the Front Desk area so the morning staff can prepare for their shift.
• Monitor the hotel security camera system.
• Ensure the lobby is maintained, properly lit, and has music at an appropriate volume.
• Work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
