About The Position

The Night Auditor oversees overnight financial audits and reconciliations while helping deliver memorable guest experiences. The role audits, posts, and reconciles daily financial activity across hotel outlets; checks that credit card transactions match daily reports; and investigates discrepancies between financial reports and takings. The Night Auditor also guides and trains Night Managers in accurate financial processes and system use and assists the Night Manager during emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Audit, post, and reconcile the day's financial activity across outlets.
• Ensure credit card transactions align with daily reports.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies between financial reports and takings.
• Provide guidance and training to Night Managers on accurate financial processes and system use.
• Assist the Night Manager during emergency situations.
