About The Position

The Night Auditor performs end-of-day accounting tasks and overnight front desk duties. The role assists late-night guests, processes check-ins and check-outs, responds to customer requests, and audits, reconciles, and balances daily financial activities. The Night Auditor also acts as the manager on duty and as a guest service representative during nighttime hours.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma, GED certification, or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience in a hotel or related field.
• 1–2 years of hotel front desk or night auditor experience.
• Knowledge of brand systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily audit procedures as set forth by the hotel and company.
• Prepare and distribute required audit reports.
• Verify the status of wake-up call requests and ensure they are handled properly.
• Balance cash receipts and work performed during the audit shift.
• Prepare the front office for the A shift and reset the day's business.
• Assist late-night guests, process check-ins and check-outs, and respond to customer requests.
• Act as a guest service representative and manager on duty during nighttime hours.
• Attend and actively participate in front office meetings.
• Participate in training and cross-training programs.
• Act as the PBX operator during the audit shift.
• Assist breakfast attendants with setting up breakfast areas as needed.
• Greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
• Report for scheduled shifts on time and in uniform, in accordance with company policy.
• Know and comply with company policies and procedures related to the position.
• Perform other related duties as required.
