About The Position

Holiday Inn Express – Plattsburgh, NY is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Part-Time Night Auditor (10pm - 6am) to join our Front Desk team. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working independently overnight while providing excellent service to our guests.

Requirements

• Dependable and punctual
• Comfortable working independently overnight
• Strong attention to detail and basic math skills
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn hotel software
• Ability to remain calm and professional when handling guest concerns
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle guest information appropriately

Nice To Haves

• Previous hotel, front desk, customer service, or cash-handling experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests during overnight hours
• Check guests in and out of the hotel
• Process reservations, payments, and guest account transactions
• Answer phones and respond to guest questions and requests
• Complete nightly audit and end-of-day procedures
• Review and balance daily transactions
• Verify room charges, payments, and guest accounts for accuracy
• Complete and distribute required nightly reports
• Prepare the hotel system for the next business day
• Address guest concerns and resolve issues when possible
• Monitor hotel activity and help maintain a safe and secure environment
• Communicate important information to the morning Front Desk team
• Maintain a clean and organized Front Desk and lobby area
• Follow hotel and IHG policies, procedures, and brand standards
• Assist with other hotel duties as needed during overnight hours
