Requirements
- Completion of NFHS “Fundamentals of Coaching”
- Completion of "First Aid, Health, & Safety"
- Completion of “NFHS Heat Illness Prevention” course
- Completion of the NFHS COVID-19 Course
- Completion of concussion certificate
- Completion of Sudden Cardiac Arrest Certificate
Nice To Haves
- Successfully completed the ASEP Coaches Education Course prior to May 15, 2013
Responsibilities
- Complete the NFHS “Fundamentals of Coaching” and “First Aid, Health, & Safety for Coaches” courses prior to assuming the position (or have successfully completed the ASEP Coaches Education Course prior to May 15, 2013).
- Keep concussion certificate on file every year.
- Keep Sudden Cardiac Arrest Certificate on file every year.
- Complete the “NFHS Heat Illness Prevention” course and keep a copy on file every year.
- Complete the NFHS COVID-19 Course.
