About The Position

The NextGen AI Manager will be the business-facing owner for a NextGen AI area, such as Reasoning Models or Vibe Coding. These innovations can underpin EY’s reasoning capabilities or change how developers write software. Responsibilities include leading on areas like chain of thought reasoning and deep research, and other capabilities that augment how people do their work. The role involves working with engineers to deliver rapid prototypes and light pilots to prove value. Key accountabilities include owning intake, prioritization, scope, KPIs, and acceptance, ensuring quick learning without compromising compliance. The role partners with Engineering, reports progress and risks to leadership, represents business stakeholders daily, and engages with account teams and clients on the area led.

Requirements

  • 6+ years in product leadership, consulting, or program delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex business processes into clear requirements.
  • Ability to manage engineering teams at pace and operating at a great cadence.
  • Familiarity with GenAI concepts and enterprise constraints (privacy, security, etc).
  • Excellent written/verbal communication; executive stakeholder presence.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in regulated domains.
  • Experience running pilots and driving change management in client environments.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the product backlog across prototype → pilot → MVP.
  • Plan short sprints; align pod staffing; manage dependencies.
  • Coordinate reviews and sign-offs for governance & compliance.
  • Prepare exec updates, release notes, demo narratives; escalate issues early with options/impact.
