About The Position
WEAR has an exciting opportunity for a part-time News Production Assistant. This role involves operating teleprompters or cameras, floor managing newscasts, and preparing for newscasts. Responsibilities include studio and set preparation, greeting and mic-ing guests, cleaning and maintaining the studio, lighting maintenance, and video editing for webcasts. Requirements
- Education and/or internship in television or related field preferred
- Must be able to work on weekends
- Other hours as needed, on occasion

Responsibilities
- Operate TelePrompter or camera and floor manage for our (Morning, Evening, and/or Weekend) Newscasts
- Prep for newscasts including but not limited to: Studio and set preparation, Greet and mic guests, Clean and maintain studio, Lighting maintenance, Video editing for webcasts, Other duties as assigned
