New Patient Navigator

Flourish Research•Los Angeles, CA
•$3,300 - $4,300•Onsite

About The Position

The New Patient Navigator is the primary point of contact for patients referred to Valkyrie Clinical Trials and for the physician offices that refer them. This individual manages the new-patient pathway from referral intake through Cycle 1 Day 1 by contacting patients promptly, arranging initial consultations, collecting medical records needed to evaluate trial fit, and completing a documented handoff to the assigned Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC). The Navigator also serves as the day-to-day administrative contact for referring physicians and their staff, providing updates and supporting effective referral workflows. This role requires understanding a patient's diagnosis, stage, and treatment history, as well as the site's open protocols, to identify relevant records and ensure they reach the Principal Investigator completely and on time. The Navigator does not determine eligibility. The position emphasizes attentive, white-glove support for patients and families, including taking ownership of logistical obstacles until they are resolved or transferred to the appropriate person. The same consistent follow-through is expected with referring physicians. This is an individual-contributor position within Site Operations. It reports to the Director, Patient Navigation and works closely with the Medical Director, Principal Investigators, and clinical research team. Responsibility for the patient transfers to the CRC at Cycle 1 Day 1. Work must follow Flourish Research SOPs and policies, HIPAA and patient privacy requirements, federal regulations, medical ethics, Good Clinical Practice, ICH guidelines, IRB requirements, sponsor protocol requirements, and the organization's core values, mission, and employee manual. The position is onsite at the Valkyrie Clinical Trials Century City, California site, Monday through Friday on a day shift, 40 hours per week. It is non-exempt, with compensation of $33 to $43 per hour depending on experience.
