New Home Quality Reviewer

2M Quality•Locust Grove, VA

About The Position

This part-time, 1099 position evaluates newly built homes from a customer’s perspective to identify defects in workmanship, quality, completeness, consistency, and professionalism. Reviews assess the quality of finished construction and take an average of 1 to 1.5 hours. The reviewer drives to construction sites and completes reviews on the scheduled day, starting any time between 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Reports are entered electronically on site upon completion and no later than 5:00 p.m. Training is provided on entering Quality Review Reports into the report database. Reviewers are not required to walk on roofs or in attics, and no tools, lights, or ladders are used. Reviewers must be available four to five days per week, Monday through Friday, for partial and sometimes full days. Days off must be communicated to the scheduler at least a week in advance, except in emergencies. Work must be completed on the scheduled day between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Drive time is not compensated; management will group work orders when possible to minimize driving between stops. Compensation is per completed review: $75–$90 per new review. During a 30–60-day introductory period, pay is $65–$75 per review, with a $10-per-house increase when the introductory period ends.
