This part-time, 1099 position involves reviewing newly built homes from a customer's perspective and assessing the quality of the completed construction. Reviews typically take 1 to 1.5 hours. The reviewer drives to construction sites and conducts reviews on scheduled days, beginning anytime between 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Reports must be submitted electronically from the site when the review is complete and no later than 5:00 p.m. Reviewers use their own tablet to enter results online; training on the Quality Review Report database is provided. Reviewers are not required to walk on roofs or in attics, and no tools, lights, or ladders are used. Reviewers must be available four to five days Monday through Friday for partial and sometimes full days. Days off must be communicated to the scheduler at least a week in advance, except in emergencies. Driving time is not compensated; management groups work orders when possible to reduce travel between stops. Compensation is per completed review: $75–$90 per new review after the introductory period, with introductory pay of $65–$75 per review for 30–60 days. The posting states there is a $10-per-house raise when the introductory period ends.
