About The Position

M/I Homes, a leading homebuilder with 50 years of experience, is expanding its Southwest Florida division and seeking driven individuals for a New Home Internet Sales Consultant role. This position focuses on communicating with potential buyers via phone and email to understand their needs, schedule appointments with New Home Consultants, and transition leads to sales. The role requires strong sales and customer service skills, the ability to build relationships over the phone and in writing, and knowledge of M/I Homes' products and communities. Proficiency in CRM databases like Pivotal is necessary. This is a hybrid role, not an onsite sales position.

Responsibilities

  • Timely follow-up on all electronic leads using problem-solving, customer service, and communication skills.
  • Manage leads in the CRM database, including both short-term and long-term follow-up.
  • Ask appropriate questions to understand buyer needs and wants, uncover preferences, and gather prospect information to determine suitable products, pricing, timeframes, and locations.
  • Build relationships with potential buyers via phone and email.
  • Conduct a minimum of 200 targeted outbound calls per week to leads and prospects who have previously engaged with M/I Homes.
  • Schedule appointments with the sales team for potential homebuyers and arrange personal tours at preferred communities/model homes.
  • Create and share self-made videos using Bomb Bomb as a communication method with customers.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of M/I Homes' product features and benefits.
  • Act as an internal champion for quality website content and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to plan targeted mass email marketing messages.
  • Provide feedback on electronic lead generation efforts, marketing strategy, and execution.
  • Participate in ongoing training, including weekly calls, bi-weekly sales meetings, and one-on-one training.
  • Assist with special projects and perform additional duties as required.
