About The Position

The New Home Counselor will support prospective buyers for Oakwood Communities in the Arizona Market. This role's primary focus is to guide potential buyers through a presentation and virtual demonstration of Oakwood Homes, communities, model homes, and home sites. The counselor will be responsible for addressing buyer questions, overcoming objections, and securing sales contracts. Additionally, they will ensure overall buyer satisfaction through regular follow-up, address homeowner/buyer concerns throughout the process, and engage in self-prospecting (Realtors & Referrals). A daily focus on key success drivers leading to sales and contract closings, along with reporting on these metrics, is expected. Embracing new technologies, specifically the HubSpot CRM system and other tools, is also a key aspect of this role.

  • Proficiency in MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in single-family residential or related field beneficial but not required.
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual in person attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly
