About The Position
This is a full-time position for a Registered Nurse on a fast-paced, 34-bed medical-surgical unit at Atrium Health Stanly. The unit specializes in general and orthopedic surgeries, wound care, and various medical diagnoses, offering diverse clinical experiences. It features telemetry monitoring capabilities and maintains a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6, with HCTs at 1:8-12. The department boasts a great, upbeat culture with ample support from experienced team members, including unassigned team leads, clinical supervisors, and unit managers. The team practices nursing autonomy using evidence-based practice and strives for a cohesive environment focused on engagement, patient experience, learning, and growth. Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
