About The Position
This is a full-time Registered Nurse position on a fast-paced, 34-bed medical-surgical unit with telemetry monitoring capabilities. The unit serves diverse patient populations and offers a wide variety of clinical experiences. The department has a supportive and upbeat culture with ample team support, including unassigned team leads, clinical supervisors, and unit managers. The team practices nursing autonomy using evidence-based practice and strives for a cohesive environment focused on engagement, patient experience, learning, and growth. Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Responsibilities
- Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
- Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Utilize evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and communication skills.
- Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
