About The Position

PepsiCo Foods Canada has current openings at the Frito Lay Facility in Cambridge, ON for New Grad - Team Supervisor to join the team. This position requires flexible availability to work a variety of shifts including afternoon, overnight or weekend shifts. As a Supply Chain Team Supervisor, you are responsible for leading your team to achieve key performance indicators during your shift. The primary role is focused on quality performance, cost, service, and safety targets while developing your Team Members on different production lines, or within the warehouse. You will interact and collaborate daily with people leaders in all different kinds of department in the plant, including Quality, Operations, Packaging, Processing, Traffic, Warehouse, and Maintenance as you motivate and inspire your team, eliminate barriers, and problem solve. You will have the opportunity to learn the business from the ground up and develop leadership skills by attending continuous improvement training with the goal of leading a front-line team.

Requirements

  • Graduated with your bachelor’s degree in 2024, 2025 or will be graduating by May 2026.
  • Exceptional Verbal and Written Communication Skills.
  • Experience in Coaching and Monitoring Performance of Others – Take Others With You.
  • Able to Instruct and Teach Others.
  • Skills in Organizing, Planning and Prioritizing Work.
  • Mechanical and Technical Aptitude.
  • Demonstrated commitment to working with and leading people.
  • Proven problem solver and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Collaborative team-player with a “roll-up your sleeves” approach.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Manufacturing, Warehouse, or Operations Preferred.
  • 1-3 + years’ Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work on assignments that require you to perform cost/benefit analysis and balance our four key imperatives: cost, quality, service, and people.
  • Provide functional leadership, coaching, and technical support.
  • Develop leadership skills by attending continuous improvement training with the ultimate goal of leading a front-line team.
  • Develop individuals and the team to solve routine and complex operational issues.
  • Motivate the team to achieve established performance targets and coaching them on performance processes.
  • Lead daily performance meetings.
  • Make daily decisions impacting the business.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Strive to identify and implement productivity and efficiency initiatives (ex. reduction of scheduled downtime, identifying loss points for raw materials, leading front-line employees, process changes and product & packaging waste reduction).
