Launch your nursing career at H60, a brand-new 50-bed unit that will become an integral part of Cleveland Clinic Main Campus’ emerging trauma program. As a New Grad RN Resident, you’ll have the unique opportunity to grow your nursing skills alongside a team that is building something from the ground up. The unit will initially care for a medical-surgical patient population, providing a strong foundation in acute care before transitioning into its long-term role as a dedicated Trauma Acute Care Unit. H60 is an exciting place to begin your nursing journey, offering hands-on experience, opportunities to learn from experienced caregivers, and the chance to be part of a growing program from the very beginning. You’ll build confidence, strengthen your clinical skills, and discover where your nursing career can take you, all while helping shape the future of trauma care at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN)
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
• New graduate RN OR less than one year of RN work experience

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Responsibilities

• Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
• Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
• Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care (acuity of need, patient preference and resource availability).
• Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate action to correct, reduce or prevent risk.
• Seek supervision, consultation and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently.
• Document in patients’ medical records.
